In Europe years ago governments started taxing windows in houses. The thought process was the rich had bigger houses and, therefore, they had more windows. In other words, the governments wanted to Tax The Rich. What happened was that the rich and the poor started bricking over their windows. These bricked-over windows can still be seen today. I can testify to this foolishness because I have seen them myself.
Today our governments continue to look for new sources of Tax Revenue.

Before I listed the above tax list I qualified it by saying that it may not be completely accurate. One of the ways in which it may not be completely accurate is it may not be complete.
I may have just come up with a future new source of revenue for our various governments. You may read this and decide that it is Foolishness, But Is It?…
Taxes may continue to be raised, little by little, until we get to the point where we have nothing left that is not already taxed. (Are you ready for this?) We could then be assessed a “Tax Penalty Because You Don’t Have Anything Left To Tax Surcharge”.
